The exhibition was developed for the National Park Service and presented the story of the Constitutional Convention held in Philadelphia in 1787.  It was designed around a priceless collection of foundation documents of the United States including Madison’s Notes, a copy of the Articles of Confederation, a copy of the Declaration of Independence, the Definitive Treaty between Great Britain and the United States of America and letters of George Washington and Dolly Madison.  Housed in the Second Bank of the United States in Philadelphia’s National Historic Park, the exhibit elements were designed to protect the documents while allowing close inspection by visitors.  The structure of the exhibits utilized neo-classic forms which reflected the interior architecture of the Great Banking Hall.
