The Onandaga County War Memorial exhibition is dedicated to honoring the memory of the men and women of Onandaga County, New York who served in the Armed Forces of the United States.  The exhibition is organized chronologically to present artifacts and stories of each of the major conflicts fought by our country:  The Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World War 1, World War 2, the Korean War and Vietnam.  The exhibition space is comprised of a continuous wall display was installed before the Gulf War and subsequent conflicts in Iraq and Aghganistan.  Each conflict is represented by a uniformed statue of a veteran from Onandaga County depicting a piece of that person’s unique experience while serving our country.
